Wisdom Teeth Extraction
Wisdom teeth are the last molar teeth to erupt in a person. They are located at the very back of each quadrant of the jaw.
For most patients, wisdom teeth will need to be extracted because there usually is not enough space for these teeth to erupt properly into place. This may cause infection (or abscess) of the gums, cheek or throat, as the teeth are erupting. Sometimes, this abscess may spread to other areas such as the throat/neck. If you are experiencing any kind of pain or discomfort in the back of your jaw, please call us right away to assess and remove these teeth.
